At Quipasur we work with inputs for four key sectors: the foundry industry, forestry, agriculture and aquaculture. Our experience in each of these areas allows us to offer specific technical solutions, adapted to the real needs of our customers.

In the aquaculture area, one of our current challenges arises with AC Redes, a company located in Chiloé dedicated to the cleaning and preparation of nets for salmon farms. The relationship with them began through our Quipasur Antifouling Paints, and today, thanks to the wide range of products and technologies we handle, we are supporting them in a new need: to improve the safety of their work floors.

The problem detected in their plant was the risk of slipping due to the constant humidity on the concrete floor. Traditional solutions, such as epoxy coatings, did not offer good adhesion in these conditions, so a more technical and efficient alternative was required.

To meet this challenge, we proposed a polyurethane cement coating developed by Ardex, represented in Chile by Hewstone Paints, a high performance solution that resists humidity and provides anti-slip properties, ideal for demanding environments. A 3 m² sample was carried out with a two-coat application, quartz dusting, and a drying process adapted to the climatic conditions of southern Chile.

Although the project is still in the evaluation phase, the first results have been positive and motivate us to continue advancing along these lines. This type of initiative reflects Quipasur's approach: to be close to our customers, to understand their processes, and to search together for the best solution, even when the path is not defined.

We will continue to accompany AC Redes in the development of this coating, committed to deliver safety, innovation and confidence at every step.
